After reading a news on the CNN website, I was immersed myself in thought that China should be understood by other countries.Chinese culture is different from the western countries, as a result, we have always been misunderstood.
we have different opinion on "criticism".Fist of all, we should not take the situation of China into account to discuss this problem. Our attitude toward the "criticism" is diametrical opposites. In chinese culture people will not criticise one in a direct way so that it would not hurt his heart. This is something we call give he or she "mianzi".However, westerners behave in a direct way which easterner will hardly accept.In their eyes, it is a effective means to give ciriticsm in order to accelerate the development. It seems to be disappointed all of us neglect the factor.
We do live in a certain culture circle which leads us to have a our own world view and value. So we usually compel our thought to others. what we can do is to pay much attention to their culture and come into their world. In that way, we can know others much better.
China need to be understood by other countrise and it must try to undertand others as well.
